A Short Silent Film
Role: Writer, Director, Editor, Videographer | Team: 3| Timeline: Mar 2025 - April 2025 | Tools/Skills: After Effects, Photoshop, Managing the Group, Team Communication
Project Description: This short film is a group project inspired by The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. The objective was to create an original story within a similar genre that captures the same atmospheric tension as the original, without using any sound or dialogue. The film relies solely on visuals and text to convey suspense and drive the narrative.
Plot/Concept: An ordinary office worker, living a private and colorless life, becomes mentally unhinged after enduring a toxic work environment. Consumed by hatred and anger, he begins plotting the murder of his boss. This short silent film is set entirely within an office-like room and will be shot from a fixed angle, mimicking the perspective of a computer webcam for the film’s duration.
