UX/UI Design | Inclusive Wayfinding | Campus Accessibility
Role: Designer, Researcher, Presenter | Timeline: Feb 2025 - Mar 2025 | Tools/Skills: Figma, Photoshop, Accessibility Design
Project Description: This project involved designing a navigation app prototype to improve access to and within UMBC’s art spaces. Unlike conventional GPS tools, this app addresses the unique layout and accessibility challenges of UMBC’s 500-acre campus. I designed an app that prioritizes accessible wayfinding and an intuitive user experience. Serving as both a tour guide and a real-time navigation tool, the app empowers all members of the campus community, including those with disabilities, to explore UMBC’s art spaces confidently. The final prototype balances functionality with inclusivity, offering a practical and thoughtful user journey.
